The VoiceOver Network is thrilled to announce the return of its much-anticipated Christmas Song Competition, generously sponsored by Sennheiser and audio-technica. In this jubilant celebration of creativity, voice actors worldwide are invited to showcase their talent by transforming beloved carols into spoken word masterpieces.
What is The VoiceOver Network Christmas Song Competition, sponsored by Sennheiser and audio-technica?
This spirited competition is a platform for voice actors to explore the magical world of spoken word during the holiday season. Participants select their cherished holiday tunes or poems and perform them as spoken word pieces, breathing new life into traditional melodies. It’s an opportunity to showcase not just vocal talent but also creativity, storytelling, and the joy of the festive season.

How To Take Part!
It’s so simple to take part – as easy as jingling bells!
1 – All you need to do is pick a Festive Carol, Song or Poem of your choice.
The twist is, you can’t sing! It can be as funny and creative as you like and involve whatever shenanigans to add spice but you must not sing. Show off your awesome voiceover skills and have fun!
Record yourself speaking the words of the song or poem from anywhere in the world.
Be as creative as you want, we’re looking for something original, unique and festive. The winning entries will be shared across our social media platforms, your submission and use of the hashtag (#VONChristmas23) will be considered consent to share.
Use of Pets/Family/Props are encouraged and welcomed.
2 – When you have recorded your Spoken Word Christmas Carol, post it on as many of the social channels as possible to increase your chances.
Your entry must tag The VoiceOver Network, Sennheiser and audio-technica plus include the hashtag #VONChristmas23 or your entry will not be counted.
Your recording can not be longer than 2 minutes.
